StoneDécor™

Hand carved pillars or not? It’s hard to tell! Expert artisan Diane Corso transformed these ordinary pillars into natural wonders using StoneDécor™, Faux Effects’® remarkable, durable natural marble dust product.

StoneDécor™ can be rolled, brushed, pounced or troweled over a variety of surfaces including SharkSkin™ and SetCoat® basecoats, as well as directly to tile, cement and laminates. StoneDécor™ is made almost entirely of marble dust and forms a marble surface when dry.

Neutral and translucent in color, StoneDécor™ can be tinted with FauxCreme Color™. Press MicaGlow Flakes™ into wet StoneDécor™ to add a striking metallic element to your finish. Once dry, sand the finish to bring out shine and dimension.

Seal StoneDécor™ with Old World VenetianWax™ or Rock Kote Crème™ for added durability. For more pizzazz, add MicaGlow Powder™ to Old World Venetian Wax™ for an incredible, luminous shine!

Basic Application

StoneDécor™ should be applied in thin coats using a roller, sponge, brush or trowel.

For optimum durability, cover the entire surface with an even layer of StoneDécor™. Do not leave open areas revealing the base paint color when applying StoneDécor™ to floors, countertops or other heavy-use surfaces.

Do not add more than 10% FauxCreme Color™ to a StoneDécor™ mixture or the material will dry with less durability and can be prone to scratches and denting.

Multiple coats can be applied in the same day, but allow at least overnight dry time before top coating.
