Tools & Supplies:

Trowel

Step 1: Apply 2 coats of Black SetCoat®, letting the first coat dry at least 4 hours before applying the second coat. Let the second coat dry overnight.

Step 2: Trowel on Russet Red StucoLux Metallic™ using 100% coverage. Some areas of black may show through. StucoLux Metallic™ moves fast and smoothly over the surface; using small amounts on your trowel works best. Let dry completely.

Step 3: Double load your trowel with small amounts of Copper and Rich Gold StucoLux Metallic™. Apply a thin, 100% coverage layer. While still wet, drift in more Copper StucoLux Metallic™. This product dries quickly, and in most cases, Steps 2 and 3 may be completed in the same day. Let dry completely.

Step 4: Mix Dark Brown FauxColor™ with SoSlow™ or FauxCreme® Clear; you want the color to be dark and rich. Apply color mixture using a sea sponge in open drifts. Spray with Activator II™ and allow color to activate. Next, spray Activator II™ on a padded cheesecloth. With a light touch, use this cheesecloth to blend and soften color.
