Tools & Supplies:

Trowel
Faux Effects® styrene trowel
Low-tack painter’s tape
Stir sticks

Step 1: Ensure the surface is clean and free of loose paint, dust and grease. For best results apply NüVilla® over dry SetCoat®.

Step 2: Trowel on an even layer of Husk NüVilla®. Let dry at least 4 hours between coats.

Step 3: When completely dry, place a Fancy Fleur de Lis StencilFX™ over the work area and secure with low-tack painter’s tape. Trowel a thin layer of Gold NüVilla® Metallic through the stencil using a Faux Effects® styrene trowel. Optional: Leaving areas of the stencil open and applying more and less product to areas adds more dimension to the finish.

Step 4: Remove stencil and repeat Step 3 until finish is complete.
